About Michelle
Michelle is a community leader and longtime resident with a proven track record of community service and leadership. During her tenure on the City Council, she has focused on the core priorities of fiscal stability, infrastructure and public safety. She is independent and practical, always putting the needs of property owners and residents first. Michelle was appointed to the City Council in 2014 to fill a vacancy and elected to a four-year term in 2015. She currently serves as liaison to the Housing Commission, Liquor Control Commission, and the Ravinia Festival Community Relations Commission. She previously served as a liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission, Design Review Commission, School District 112, School District 113, the Sister Cities Foundation, Wolters Field Advisory Committee, and the Park Avenue Beach Task Force. Holleman is an active member of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church, the Highland Park High School Parent Teacher Organization, the Highland Park High School Giants Club, and the Tenth Dems Organization.
